Wake Up Mumbai!

Apathetic response welcomed the Team Anna at MMRDA. The 74 years old Gandhian youth is toiling with his wellbeing, only to defend the future of Indian youth. Indian youth huh where is he? Barely 5000 heads out of 12478447 occupied the anshan ground. Also, dozens of culprits demonstrated black flags to the rally. Why is the response getting low for this movement against corruption? Is it the Xmas and New Year celebration or is it the weakness of Mumbai’s task force to make the movement effective? Whatever it may be the Delhiites responded sanguinely to the August Kranti, what made Mumbaikars fail this exam is hard to tell. The response appeared very low, less than the regarded number. Nervousness dashed the minds of many Indians including the fasting Anna, exploring the fewer crowds, which made him break the hunger strike. Going back in the August remembers me a huge mass rolling down the streets of Mumbai for rallies. The metro youth supported the movement via internet few months ago, the picture has turned dirty this time the ‘engaged’ city is busy with the celebrations now.
Mumbai, the city of dreams crooked the movement into a nightmare. The ruling government succeeded to pass THEIR bill, but failed to give it a constitutional status, this is all what opposition did. The condition would have been special, if it was of a roaring Vande Mataram and a large number of tri-color waving through a huge crowd. But Anna failed to do so, his people denied him, his state disrespected the go and may be we are responsible for this letdown. The mean government is valuing it as a crash of the Civil Disobedience movement despite cheering for the victory their victory. It was a scene in Delhi, huge crowds heading towards the Ramlila maidan increasing the count day by day and the opposite was on MMRDA maidan, calling it opposite would not be correct, the mass joined the movement in lesser group but headed out united. The people expected a first-class backing, from the state capital. Woeful comments ran throughout the world, condemning over the halt in the satyagraha. Who was at fault? Mumbaikars? The Jan Lokpal? Or Anna himself, for blindly trusting the city.  The question may remain unanswered, but the 2 day show has answered everything. The mumbaikars can be undoubtedly tagged as the people who are used to everything. What if it would have been a India-Pakistan cricket match on 27th Dec at MMRDA !!!!! huh hope you got it. Aamchi Mumbai Aamchi Mumbai , the mumbaites are always proud of. Yes the city is certainly yours, but it lies in a country called India.
One must understand the weightiness of the movement and shore it up lively. The team will hopefully cope up with the flaws and go ahead retaining the nasty failure in Mumbai. Realizing the support in Delhi would like to thank the Delhiites, Dilli walo sach main aap dil wale ho…..

Lord of the Last Benches

Our place, Our college

I know there are both frontbenchers and backbenchers, reading this blog post, ummm what about the middle ones????  There are no middlebrows!!!! It is a juncture, when a student rambles from front benches to back or vice versa.  Whilst vice versa is an often rare case. Well, “The best brains of the nation may be found on the LAST BENCHES of the classroom”, love these lexis of our beloved APJ, being a backbencher. No no, I am not notifying that I have the best brain in the nation.
We the backbenchers are often contemplated as roguish, playful and evidently not studious. And truly we are not. Don’t ask how we cleared up till this seventh semester of our Engineering. When the results are out we feel like the war heroes, even if it is an AT-KT. The only opportunity we are always in search is to show our reputation as a gang, practically a gang.  The noteworthy point is the backbenchers never compete with each other, nor they pull each others leg, but team up. We help each other grow because we don’t feel insecure by seeing  another person growing  as we know that anyone who grows will pull the others up so that we can team up for the next level growth.  I study in a class where benches block up from back! Eventually the front ones are left with the filth of chalk. Some say it a misfortune, but we deem it as a set apart, no girls in the class, Industrial Engineering!!!!! So is the reason, we are united.
::snapped from the last bench::
“Get up, get up” I was not in a bed, it was a class after lunch, Amit whispered “sir is looking at you” tapping my polished shoe. And really it was a good timing, the moment I peeped through the gap, got a chalk on my face; apparently the professor must have applied a kind of mechanics,  calculated force, speed and direction. And repeatedly are caught by our HOD in other departments Electronics, Computer and most loved IT…lol. In short the backbenchers enjoy with full rada!!!!  To chomp through the four years of your degree course, be a backbencher. Any parent or professor reading it would kill me up. Alas! It’s the truth, unaccepted and a sorrowful trench that the book of every nation is always written on the last bench.
However, at this clock, writing a blog, made me emotional. Last six months!!!! And will no more have a back bench. We were in high spirits, at the beginning of 7th semester, unknowingly the happiness flied away with time, will it be possible to live a life without friends? It was just as if a giant vacuum just came in and sucked the cheer out of me, when I imagined it like a nightmare.  Getting 15min earlier than the college timings, face wash, deodorants, canteen masti, intentionally getting late in the class, paper balls, chatting with the new girl in the college (sitting on the last bench), submission, a short nap during PL, a tough exam, college farewell, jumping around the walls after a pleasant and rocking night-out at the dhabas (JP), a birthday party and the never cleaned hostel room, will remember a lot after a semester. And want to convey my dear professors’ beloved frontbenchers; backbenchers are mischievous but not troublesome. All they wish is to live freely and take pleasure in every phase of life. Most of the backbenchers are honest; straight forward and fearless. They will say what they think and they don’t care whether it would hurt anybody, which will come in handy during tough times.
I know my dear ones will call it as rubbish logic like many of you. As a backbencher, I don’t care about those comments because one needs to be street smart to get this logic.
But I would like to know, whether you are a backbencher or frontbencher? Did you like this post? Please post your comments.

Here I have a poem by a backbencher, poet is unknown……

Backbenchers!
They're the daring destroyers of boredom,
drawing sweet smiles in their kingdom..
Should any lecture ever go sore,
they'll bring laughter with a roar..

History or chemistry, it doesn't matter,
class too quiet? silence will shatter..
A few wise cracks, sounds once or twice,
mischief is hatched with splendor n spice,
often the end effects are just so very nice..

Sometimes teachers might give up,
sometimes principals get fed up..
They're but a wise teacher's pet,
for they are not too dumb, you bet..

Like a good press in democracy,
cracking up stupidity, lies n hypocrisy..
They're unsung heroes of the rear,
might even top the class, beware!

Did the Russians even exist when the HOLY BOOK was dictated?

Few days in the past Russian government jammed the headlines in India, making an issue over holy Bhagwad Geeta.  It was diminutive issue for the Russian, but saddened the hub of Indians, leaving behind a  feeling of annoyance irritation against this unholy act. I too had a feeling of grief, for a moment. I must be sorry, I didn’t sweat after that, and many of us must have not. May be we are customary of it. I am sorry for that!
Facebook, it all started here and I learned about the seriousness of the flashing news. Sachin, eventually going to screw me for this, started it all. Groups were inadvertently divided into two, arguing over the way our Ministers argue in Loksabha, for dilemma of Bhagwad Geeta. The comments went over a number of forty four in no time for what Sachin questioned on his wall, “Should Bhagwad Geeta be a national book?” I would not like to put a light upon what the posts were, but noticed people, having poles apart though concluding the same, “Geeta must be a national book”.
Should it really be?  Being an Indian a Hindu and a bit religious I will answer, why not (?) Arguing  Ministers, disappointed many for a Mahabharata in the house,  must have teamed up at least over this issue,  and have had honored holy sacred Bhagwad Geeta by a title of a national book. Although, the title is not what will distinguish it, and this holy book doesn’t need to be distinguished, being already a foremost life book. Captioned (as a national book) only to avoid the further abuse.
The wisdom knowledge Geeta is endowed with is going to be unchanged, whatever the title is. Many tweeters being spiritual and submissive voted for the TITLE. Russians stepped forward to ban Geeta, but do they actually know what the book speaks? If yes, they never would have banned.
Actually it has remained a topic of disputation, ever since and will remain to be so even after. People with their different outlooks, put in their brain to find out key but none actually get it as it should be. But one thing is to be understood by all of us, life is a gift, it is a token of love of the ALMIGHTY which is to be put in for the well being of humanity, and not disrespecting and fighting  for no grounds     ( * Russians).  This can only be achieved by enlightening our minds with the flame of ‘optimism’ ‘integrity’ and ‘understandability’. Once the world inculcates this wisdom we all will have an only flag of Humanity!!!!!!.........

Well, this is my first blog and views here would be totally untrue. It was my dream to write a blog, and my mentor guru is Raju a famous character from a notorious movie 3 Idiots (as sighted in a scene).  I am not a writer nor is a truth-seeker. The opinion expressed here may be factual or phony or you may also take it as spurious. But you can snitch or notify me, your advices will always be greeted.

The central idea which banged my brain to write a blog was about a girl. Anxious? Don’t be so; I am not writing for a girl. It was a streak which knocked me to do so, the time I liked her. It doesn’t mean that I don’t worship her now.  The next thing which goaded me to put pen to paper was my college magazine. I have not decided what this blog will be about; nor do I have a collected noticeable work.  It is just my leisure activity.  Hope you will be of assistance to me.
