Apathetic
response welcomed the Team Anna at
MMRDA. The 74 years old Gandhian
youth is toiling with his wellbeing, only to defend the future of Indian youth.
Indian youth huh where is he? Barely 5000 heads out of 12478447 occupied the anshan ground. Also, dozens of culprits demonstrated black flags to the rally.
Why is the response getting low for this movement against corruption? Is it the
Xmas and New Year celebration or is it the weakness of Mumbai’s task force to
make the movement effective? Whatever it may be the Delhiites responded sanguinely
to the August Kranti, what made Mumbaikars fail this exam is hard to tell. The response
appeared very low, less than the regarded number. Nervousness dashed the minds
of many Indians including the fasting Anna, exploring the fewer crowds, which
made him break the hunger strike. Going back in the August remembers me a huge
mass rolling down the streets of Mumbai for rallies. The metro youth supported
the movement via internet few months ago, the picture has turned dirty this
time the ‘engaged’ city is busy with the celebrations now.
Mumbai, the city of dreams crooked the
movement into a nightmare. The ruling government succeeded to pass THEIR bill,
but failed to give it a constitutional status, this is all what opposition did.
The condition would have been special, if it was of a roaring Vande Mataram and
a large number of tri-color waving through a huge crowd. But Anna failed to do
so, his people denied him, his state disrespected the go and may be we are
responsible for this letdown. The mean government is valuing it as a crash of
the Civil Disobedience movement despite cheering for the victory their victory.
It was a scene in Delhi, huge crowds heading towards the Ramlila maidan
increasing the count day by day and the opposite was on MMRDA maidan, calling
it opposite would not be correct, the mass joined the movement in lesser group
but headed out united. The people expected a first-class backing, from the
state capital. Woeful comments ran throughout the world, condemning over the halt
in the satyagraha. Who was at fault? Mumbaikars? The Jan Lokpal? Or Anna
himself, for blindly trusting the city. The
question may remain unanswered, but the 2 day show has answered everything. The
mumbaikars can be undoubtedly tagged as the people who are used to everything. What
if it would have been a India-Pakistan cricket match on 27th Dec at
MMRDA !!!!! huh hope you got it. Aamchi
Mumbai Aamchi Mumbai , the
mumbaites are always proud of. Yes the city is certainly yours, but it lies in
a country called India.
One must understand the weightiness of
the movement and shore it up lively. The team will hopefully cope up with the
flaws and go ahead retaining the nasty failure in Mumbai. Realizing the support
in Delhi would like to thank the Delhiites, Dilli
walo sach main aap dil wale ho…..
